Experienced Family Physician Dr. Ngozika Mbonu

A PhD graduate of Maastricht University, Dr. Chinwe Ngozika Mbonu earned a doctorate in public health with a focus on HIV/AIDS. She also completed a postgraduate training in practical dermatology in the United Kingdom and a family medicine residency program at the University of Alberta. Since 2018, Dr. Chinwe Ngozika (Ngozi) Mbonu has family medicine practices at Kingsridge Medical Clinic in St. Albert, and Cure MD Medical clinic in Leduc, Alberta where she provides comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages.

Alongside her role, Dr. Ngozi C. Mbonu handles urgent care cases at Cure MD Medical Clinic in Leduc. In addition to treating a wide variety of injuries and illnesses, she handles issues related to skin, women’s health, and child mental health.

She provides child mental health consultation services in Can Reach clinic at St Albert Primary Care Network, Alberta.

Since 2021, Dr. Chinwe Ngozi Mbonu has served as an assessment supervisor in the clinical assessment program at the University of Calgary. A native Ibo speaker who is fluent in English and Dutch, she enjoys jogging, swimming, and golfing in her free time.
